On the following page you can preview some of the Kitchens I have designed and built. Remember each project shown was commissioned, designed and built specifically for a particular individual. Designing and Building a Custom Kitchen is one of my favorite challenges. Since I am not a production Cabinet Shop, I build my Kitchen cabinets the same as if I'm building a piece of furniture. It takes time, but I have always felt it is well worth it since a kitchen is the main stay of any home, so quality should never be compromised.

I love working with the homeowner, making sure
we eliminate everything they disliked about their old
kitchen and making sure we go over every option
that's available for their new kitchen.
All the cabinets in this kitchen are made with Cherry,
including the interior of the cabinets. The
drawers are made with solid Maple, dovetailed
on all four corners, using the Blum under mount
full extension slides.
Some of the unique features of this kitchen are the custom made Cutlery drawer,
special drawers with dividers below the cook top for all the cookware, two pop-up
work areas that hold the food processor and blender. Built-in wine cooler, a prep
sink, plus the main sink. All accomplished in a small Gallery type kitchen. The
Cabinets are made of Hard Maple with inset Doors and Drawers. Solid Maple
drawers, dove tailed and Blum under mount full extension slides.
This home owner had the back wall of the house
extended by 12ft for new space, for a dining area
and to have a more open floor plan from the kitchen to the dinning
room. The cabinets are Maple finished natural. All
the appliances are built in, from the double ovens to the 48"
gas cook top, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator.
This Mahogany Kitchen has more of a Contemporary
flair to it. All the cabinets are mahogany, including the
interiors. Drawers are solid maple and are dove tailed.
This
was an entire wall of
Pantries. The Doors are
figured Birch with a natural
finish. All the doors were
installed with touch latches.
Each pantry had swing out
shelving units for maximum
accessibility.
One of the most unique
features was the built
in step stool that is
hidden in the toe knick.
It pulls out and flips up
to become a 3 step stool
to allow access to the
top shelves of the
pantries. It folds down
and slides back in the toe kick
when not in use.
